Refund Policy

The short version

Every VicePortrait is custom-made from your photos and your selections. That's why personalized items are final sale and can't be returned for a refund. If something isn't right, we'll make it right: damaged prints are replaced for free, and if you're unhappy with the artwork, contact us within 14 days and we'll look at your case personally.

Personalized items are final sale

Because each poster and canvas is created specifically for you from your uploaded photos and your choices (people, scene, name, size), we cannot resell it. Personalized items are therefore final sale and not eligible for return, exchange or refund, except in the cases described below or where required by applicable law.

Digital portraits

For digital portraits, production starts immediately after payment with your consent at checkout. Once the artwork has been created and delivered, digital portraits cannot be refunded.

Damaged or defective items

If your portrait arrives damaged, or a print has a production defect, send photos of the packaging and the issue to crew@viceportrait.com within 7 days of delivery. We will send you a free replacement print. You don't need to return the original.

Satisfaction promise

If you're not happy with how your portrait turned out, email us within 14 days of delivery. We review every case personally and will work with you on a solution. This promise is a voluntary courtesy and does not create a legal right to a refund.

Order cancellations

You can cancel your order for a full refund as long as we haven't started creating your portrait. Once the artwork is in production, cancellation is no longer possible because the work is already being done specifically for you. To cancel, email us as soon as possible with your order number.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear.
